Founder
Dr. Rakshitha Mouly, the esteemed founder of Neethi Bioproectants, holds a PhD in Life Science (Zoology) and has dedicated 12 years to research and 5 years to teaching. Her doctoral research focused on the development of organic integrated management for major insect pests of mango, which earned her the prestigious INSPIRE fellowship from the Department of Science & Technology in New Delhi. Additionally, Dr. Mouly achieved the FIRST RANK and was awarded a gold medal for her Master of Science in Sericulture from Bangalore University. She has also qualified the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for lectureship/Assistant professor. Dr. Mouly has an extensive research experience, having worked on various projects related to organic pest management in horticulture, especially on mango fruit flies, botanicals for managing sucking pests, and prediction models for various insect pests. She has also received several recognition awards and honors for her outstanding academic achievements, including a Gold medal for securing first rank in MSc Sericulture and a cash award from Sri. M.G. Krishnan for her exceptional performance in her field.
Scientific Advisor
Dr. Abraham Verghese, B.Sc (Agri), .M.Sc (Agri), Ph. D, FRES (UK), with post-doc training at Imperial College London, UK, has an extensive background in entomology and agricultural research. He has held various prestigious positions throughout his career, a Former Director of ICAR-National Bureau of Agricultural Insect Resources (NBAIR) in Bangalore. Additionally, he has served as the Former Principal Scientist & Head of Entomology at ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research in Bangalore and Former Chief Editor of Pest Management in Horticultural Ecosystem. Dr. Verghese's expertise extends beyond India, as he has also received post-doctoral training at Imperial College London in the UK. Currently, he holds the position of Editor-in-Chief at Insect Environment and serves as Chairman of Rashvee-IPRS and scientific advisor for Krushi Bioprotectant. He is also an Asian Representative on the International Steering Committee on Fruit Fly and a faculty member at the International Haggai Institute of Leadership in the USA, as well as several universities in India. Dr. Verghese has been recognized with numerous prestigious fellowships, including the Fellow of Royal Entomological Society, London, and Fellow of Association for Advancement in Biodiversity Sciences. His contributions to the field of entomology and agricultural research are highly regarded, and he continues to make significant contributions to the scientific community.
